BACKGROUND

For Luis, business has always been about people. Growing up around entrepreneurs, working at PepsiCo, investing in small businesses—every step taught him the same thing: great people build great businesses.

​

His years at PepsiCo showed him how some of the world's most iconic brands operate. As an investor, he saw how much heart entrepreneurs put into building something from scratch. Those experiences led him to start Brooke Lane, where he's supported by mentors with decades of experience growing businesses.

 

When he's not working, you'll find Luis being outsmarted by his two-year-old daughter, running Latinxedu (a nonprofit helping kids get to college), and somehow still rooting for the Cowboys. He holds degrees from SMU and Stanford, which apparently didn't teach him when to give up on lost causes.

I'm always looking for ways to grow, and I've learned from plenty of mistakes along the way. I listen, adapt, and keep going even when things get tough.
